We bring resumes to life! As a job seeker, is there something you would like employers to know about you that your resume doesn’t convey? FastTrackInterviews .com gives you the chance to tell them in your video Candidate Introduction. We help you get the edge on your competition by giving you pointers on what employers are looking for. We hired a Human Resources Expert who wrote our “Script Features”, things you might consider including in your Candidate Introduction. They give you great insight as to what employers want. Before you record make sure you check out our “Recording Do’s & Don’ts” tips, little hints from people in the film and television industry or if you want more help recording, come on location with us ! You can hire our production team to record you. We’ll load your script into a teleprompter so you don’t have to memorize it and we’ll even do you hair and make up if you want. It’s an experience you’ll never forget.
Employers too! You might like job seekers to know some things about your opportunity or company that aren’t conveyed in your job posting so you can also include a 60 second promo too. Record your own or come on location with us and let our production team record it for you.
Why do job seekers need a Candidate Introduction?
In just 60 seconds you can showcase yourself to potential employers without having to have a face to face interview. It gives you a chance to be seen and heard. You should consider your video Candiate Introduction your traditional “first interview”.
Is there a limit to the file size?
Yes. Media uploads are limited to 8MB.
What kind of file should my Candidate Introduction be?
How many words can I say in 60 seconds?
Depending on how fast you speak , 150 words is approximately 60 seconds. However, resist the urge to speak faster in order to get more words in. If you script is more than 150 words, edit it. Your presentation will be much better if you have fewer words to say. Speaking too quickly can turn people off.
I have more than one skill set and these skills sets are for unrelated jobs. Should I create a Candidate Introduction specific for each skill set?
Yes. It is to your advantage to separate your skill sets and record a Candiate Introduction specific to each skill set.
